OUR LIQUEURS have the taste of the island and the shape of desire. Dense, transparent, coloured by the sun. The fruit, the seeds, the berries from which our liqueurs are made are all hand picked, without harm to the plant or the environment. Harvesting begins when the plant has fully matured, following the seasons of nature. The Bresca Dorada liqueurs do not contain colourants, flavourings or stabilizers. They have different scents but the all tell of the same land, Sardinia.
Picked by the loving hands of expert pickers, only the best ripest berries are steeped in alcohol for many months. This infusion is the vibrant heart of our liqueur – “Mirto Rosso di Sardegna”. An infusion of herbs and roots from the eastern Sardinian coast mixed with ripe myrtle berries and tender sprouts, gives life to a digestive with an intense balsamic flavor, so unique it will satisfy the finest of palates. Ingredients: Hydro-alcoholic infusion of myrtle leaves and berries, medicinal plants and aromatic herbs, water and sugar. Alcoholic content is 30% of the volume. Liqueur obtained from the slow infusion of myrtle leaves and berries and aromatic herbs and medicinal plants from the Mediterranean maquis.
The Sarrabus oranges are unique in taste and quality. The ones we use for our ‘Aràngiu’ come from small local farmers. They give life to a surprising product, with the intense flavour of Sardinia. Ingredients: Hydro-alcoholic infusion of orange peel, water and sugar. Alcoholic content is 30% of the volume. Liqueur obtained from the infusion of orange peels.
Lemon Liqueur from Muravera
Sugar, water, alcohol and precious lemon peels from the sweet valleys of Muravera are the simple ingredients of this highly scented ‘Limoncino di Muravera’. Ingredients: Hydro-alcoholic infusion of lemon peel (Citrus lemon), water and sugar. Alcoholic content is 30% of the volume. Liqueur obtained from the infusion of lemon peels.
Fil’è Ferru – Sardinian spirits – aqua vitae
From carefully selected ingredients, we obtain “Fil’è ferru”, an aqua vitae which is produced following ancient recipes, guaranteeing a quality product, to drink with friends. Ingredients: Distilled marc. Alcoholic content is 40% of the volume.
Prickly Pear Liqueur
Only the ripest, fullest, most generous of the prickly pear fruit is chosen and put into an alcoholic infusion. The result is this product which evokes many different tastes – prickly pear fruit but also almonds and Muscat grapes. Ingredients: Hydro-alcoholic infusion of prickly pear fruit (Opuntia ficus india), water and sugar. Alcoholic content is 25% of the volume. Liqueur obtained from the infusion of prickly pear fruit.
Wild fennel liqueur
Wild fennel, in Sardinian “ Matafalua”, has all the flavour of the Island, all the scents of long walks in the countryside. Its seeds and leaves, in an alcoholic infusion, give life to a pleasant drink which is perfect after meals. Ingredients: Hydro-alcoholic infusion of wild fennel seeds and leaves (Foeniculum vulgare). Alcoholic content is 40% of the volume. Liqueur obtained from the infusion of wild fennel leaves and seeds.

Spoons sink slowly into Bresca Dorada’s dense soft jams and marmalades. They have the perfume of Sardinian fruit coming from small farms in the sunny Sarrabus area. Quince apples are a scented, velvety, ancient fruit. Our jam is soft, delicate and keeps many nuances of the flavour of the island’s tradition.
Lemon pulp, lemon peel and sugar are the only ingredients that go into this marmalade. The scent is that of the citrus fruit of the Sarrabus area, for a breath of sunny Sardinia.
Mandarin Orange and Orange Marmalade
Only the best mandarin oranges and oranges, hand cut, stirred with nothing other than sugar and love are in this tasty, authentic and genuine marmalade.
No chemical treatments for the oranges, no added pectin, preservatives, flavours or colourants. Only oranges and sugar in this marmalade like the one grandma makes.
The scent of lemon is the scent of the sun and of spring. Bresca Dorada has decided to put it into a jar with an original recipe which brings together the fragrance and taste of lemon pulp with the whispered fascination of the island’s perfumes. Myrtle, wild fennel, rosemary, lentisk, lavender and eucalyptus embrace lemon in these compotes which go well with desserts but also with some savoury dishes.

Child of the bees and the flowers, honey is an ingredient which one should never be without. It is good for throat and bronchial tubes, muscles, the heart, the liver, the digestive system, kidneys, bones and even blood. Bresca Dorada honey is produced with the technique of nomadism. The beehives are moved to where there are certain types of flowers which allows for diverse types of honey: orange blossom, eucalyptus, strawberry tree (arbutus unedo) and thistle.

Lentisk (mastic tree – pistacia lentiscus) salt
It brings to mind berries as red as fire and the intense perfume of bread and oil. Lentisk salt is best on fried foods or on crunchy toasted bread.

This salt maintains all the flavour of wild asparagus – proud, bristly, crunchy, tasty. Perfect with omelettes and eggs.
Mixed aromatized herb salt
The wild island herbs are a vibrant taste surprise. The salt is mixed with curry plant (Helichrysum italicus), myrtle leaves, wild fennel, liquorice and rosemary. It goes well with meat, fish and salads.
