 Bresca
Dorada,
is
located on the low slopes of Monte Liuru, in a luscious,
fertile valley just inland from the soft sandy beaches
of Costa Rey, in the Muravera district. The environment
surrounding the company premises looks over one of the
most enchanting stretches of sea of the Island, while
on the other side it reaches up to the slopes of the Sette
Fratelli (Seven Brothers') mountains, a demesne forest
area that was declared inalienable in 1986 and was gradually
expanded until it became a Nature Park. From the forestry
barracks of Campuomu, with the attached small Museum of
the Sardinian Deer, various well signalled walking paths
wind through the forest, deep into an enchanting land
covered by a green mantle of ilex, cork trees, Mediterranean
shrub, alders, oleanders and willows, and where visitors
might encounter exemplars of Sardinian Deer, which roam
freely in one of their last sanctuaries.
